Another big passion of mine is wildlife and equine art. All I would draw as a child was horses, and they remain a real source of inspiration today.
My favourite medium is pastel and I love working with dark moody backgrounds to really allow the subject to come off the page. Although I use photographs, my aim is not photo realism, but rather my own vision of how I see the subject. Hopefully what I end up with is a true depiction of the subject with my own unique twist.
